Deb Fellowes

Deb Fellowes is an accredited Exercise Physiologist with the Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).  She is also accredited in the area of Musculo-Skeletal Rehabilitation.  She is a recognized provider with Medicare, Department of Veteran Affairs, Private Health Insurers, Job Networks and WorkCover (Qld and NSW).

 

Deb has also helped to develop and improve both the chronic pain management and back care programs offered at the Wesley Hospital.     

She has been involved at a representative level with a number of sports and sporting teams, including touch football, rugby union and ultimate Frisbee.  Her love of all activities has seen her participate in the Southbank to Southport cycle, the Byron Bay Whalers open ocean swim, and currently has her training for the New York marathon. 

Deb graduated from Central Queensland University with a Bachelor of Human Movement Science, and a second major in Occupational Health and Safety.  She has been involved in the field of occupational rehabilitation for over 10 years.  During this time she has worked with chronic conditions, the long term unemployed, and a variety of insurance and compensation clients.

Deb previously served as Vice-President of the Queensland Chapter of ESSA, and remains actively involved, ensuring exercise physiologists are aware of new research and findings in regards to assessment, and exercise prescription.

Her background and experience mean that she is used to working with a variety of clients of differing physical restrictions, ages and goals.

The Company

Gold Coast Exercise Physiology (GCEP) is a mobile exercise physiology service, which has been operating on the Gold Coast for over 4 years.

GCEP services the Gold Coast from Northern NSW to Beenleigh and as far west as Beaudesert.  Being a mobile service means we are able to offer more flexible programs to our clients and can base our programs on the equipment and facilities you have available
